Overall Positive Experience, 2 issues
I have enjoyed the transition from Therapynotes to SimplePractice. Most everything has been figured out with ease. My only two complaints thus far is there is no live customer service however the chat and email did what was needed however there is something comforting and time saving about asking questions to a live person and receiving a response immediately. My second complaint is the automatic charge to no-show appointments. I wish I could control this automatic charge because I like to ...

Amazing!
I love how simple, Simple Practice is. I enjoy how billing is managed. It takes a lot of the anxiety out of handling payments with clients after sessions. I also like the reminders to keep on top of my notes.

Very satisfied with SP
We are very satisfied with SP. All the features are useful, & the customer/tech support is fabulous! As a group, we would like to see HIPAA compliant a group supervision/meeting feature added in the near future.

It's ok
It's ok. I've used many client/patient portals and SP has some work to do. Things SP could improve upon: Making your Reports customizable for the info I'm seeking; providing a LIVE tech support, not a chat; b/c SP actions aren't intuitive in location - make a global Search button.

It really helps to keep things simple
It really helps to keep things simple. I like it provides reminders for the clients about their appointments and reminders for me to stay on top of my paperwork. There was a reviewer that noted that Simple Practice was not billing "cash" and I just wanted to note that in order to avoid this from happening what you can put in for the payment to come out automatically from their credit card OR when you click on make payment make sure the that dropdown is on credit card and not cash.

I thought things were going well when I…
I thought things were going well when I found that a lot of my client statements with "paid" were un paid. Simple Practice has not billed my clients "cash" for the past three years for $41,000. I only figured this out when a current client said that the payments were not coming out of her account. Bless her. Customer Service keeps asking for a private URL and I don't know how to get one.

Overall it's good
Overall it's good. Onboarding new clients is a piece of cake. The biggest drawback is exactly what everyone says...reaching a live person is impossible. I almost did not go with them for this reason. Just wish they would change the way they respond and it would be 5 stars.
