I am an adult neuro-focused SLP with a new solo private practice. Simple Practice was recommended by a business consulting program that I used for its user-friendly ease with billing, scheduling and documenting. As a new user, here are my 2 cents: PROS: easy to log on, set up clients (including sending documents via the portal, scheduling sessions), and manage billing via credit cards, cash payments. SimplePractice is very easy to use, convenient and practical
SimplePractice is very easy to use, setting up clients and your schedule is convenient and practical, it syncs with Google calendar with any issues and the Video calls are of great quality along with the reminder system that sends the convenient link to each participant. It also allows you to set up an individual client and/or couples which many systems don't.

Simple Practice in a Year
I have been using SP for the last year and it has been very helpful for my practice. There are times when service/connection has been unstable and I had to use doxy.me. I would love to see a message section in the video to assist when a client may not be able to hear me or vice versa (in order to troubleshoot connection issues). It would also be helpful if super bills were sent to clients monthly automatically without me physically sending it. I would also appreciate a feature that runs the ...

I would be totally satisfied if treatment plans could be signed by clients, it seems like it’s been promised for 2 years and voted on so much. Still nothing though.

I really enjoy Simple Practice
I really enjoy Simple Practice. I find their help articles to be informative and really enjoy the calendar and documentation options. I would appreciate the ability to run reports, such as what client has what documentation. Another improvement would be the billing section and applying payments appropriately. Overall, I am very happy with their service.

I love Simple Practice
I love Simple Practice! I wish that what we typed in the notes section automatically saves! I was used to another platform that automatically saved my notes, and I learned the hard way about taking notes and closing them out without saving them first! That is the one feature for now that I WISHED was changed.

Overall Positive Experience, 2 issues
I have enjoyed the transition from Therapynotes to SimplePractice. Most everything has been figured out with ease. My only two complaints thus far is there is no live customer service however the chat and email did what was needed however there is something comforting and time saving about asking questions to a live person and receiving a response immediately. My second complaint is the automatic charge to no-show appointments. I wish I could control this automatic charge because I like to ...
