After only a year of being a customer
After only a year of being a customer, Simple Practice raised our rate by a whopping 53%. In fact, we were locked out of the software until we agreed to pay the higher rate, which I found shocking. Customer Service was of no help whatsoever. Look elsewhere for an EHR.

Easy Peasy
I had no idea what to expect. I made lists of what I thought I needed. I found simple practice and all my lists disappeared. They make it easy....and that allows me to spend brainpower on my clients..

Overpriced plans for hardly nothing
I recently signed up with simple practice but they are raising their rates and taking away features. They have continued to raise rates in the past several years. It is not worth it. I do not use all the features and for even basic features you have to upgrade to a very experience plan. They are giving one month to decide on a new plan. I pay 60. a month and use it only for messaging and Intake paperwork. I do not use for billing or notes. Now they are raising that same plan for 70 a month. ...

VERY UNHAPPY WITH NEW PRICING & SP RESPONSE TO CUSTOMERS
I had been very pleased with SP - until their absurd price hike (+$30/mo) and eliminating 2 way calendar sync from their mid tier package. If users want to keep the same features they have had, they need to pay $30 more a month. The organization is not responding to customer requests in any meaningful way, other than boilerplate pat replies. Customers are frustrated, disappointed and angry. Many are searching for (and finding) new practice management platforms.

Simple Practice has turned into a shady…
Simple Practice has turned into a shady and unresponsive company. They have recently misled its customers into switching their monthly plans early to plans that were drastically more expensive or lost crucial features they once had. The change is already challenging and frustrating enough, but they made it seem like you needed to pick a plan now and the change would go into effect with your March billing cycle, but it actually switch immediately and people had to pay and/or lose features ...

Sooo unsatisfied
I switched to SP this year so that my biller would be able to access client info and billables directly from the platform, saving me a couple hours of work a month. Things that I like: Clients seem to submit intake paperwork and schedule online with no problems. Again, my biller can access billings easily. Things that I don't like: Client information doesn't 'bleed through" pages, so on assessments I have to fill out client's name and DOB, even though i'm in their chart. The treatment goals ...

Terrible
Terrible. I have an 8 clinician team + 1 support staff mental health practice that's insurance based. SP has been seen as the "gold standard" in EMRs, especially for mental health based practices. Alas, they very recently increased their prices drastically. My plan will go up about $150/month but when you compare to other EMRs, it's quite drastic. With SP, I'm at about $650 with their new plan and with IntakeQ, I'd be about $260. Only a $400 difference. SP is feely shady and greedy. Spend ...

This is a horrible service
This is a horrible service. I am not sure what is going on over there greediness or what but their customer service is awful they won't let you talk to actual humans and they are now doubling their prices and give their customers 30 days to either migrate or pay up.

Turning into a ripoff :(
I used to love SimplePractice. They recently changed their pricing and now it feels like a ripoff. In order to continue to have a single, simple feature (calendar sync) I would have to pay $30/month EXTRA. This is a feature I used to have, that was already part of the platform. It is now a premium feature. Very disappointing. I am looking for alternatives.
