Horrible pricing plans

Your new pricing plan is going to drive solo practitioners away. $99 a month and including features that aren’t necessary is ridiculous. There are other platforms that are far less expensive and that actually care about solo providers. I’m disgusted by what simple practice is doing.

"Locked In"

What do you like best about SimplePractice? The user interface, and the fact that it helps run the practice What do you dislike about SimplePractice? SP has a UI that kids easy and locks you in to using, however once they were bought out sand went public their vision changed from helping solo small practices Recommendations to others considering SimplePractice: Use not the same as it used to be, when I started with SP it was the dream EHR for solo/small practices, there were price increases ...

Just Simple

I love SimplePractice because it is just simple! For starters I know the price may be a little pricy but it definitely is worth it. It does pretty much everything. You can do notes, billing, send out intake paperwork and telehealth just to name a few. You definitely will not be upset!

Leaving Simple Practice after 5 years

I've used Simple Practice for 5 years, and I'm about to leave for another EHR system. There are a lot of ways that the platform functionality has improved over the years, but there are a lot of wonky things that never really worked right (like their accounts/bookkeeping which is messy, complicated, and far more confusing than a competitor platform I previously used). I was wiling to deal with the shortcomings until their recent change of plan structures and pricing, which was marketed as ...

Leaving Simple Practice

Simple Practice was to be an easy way for therapist to manage their practices. The services we use are clinical notes, forms and appointments. The middle package we started with @$39 and included several services we would never use. It allowed you to sync your calendar across our devices. Calendar sync is a basic need for a practice. Suddenly they did a price hike and this package jumped to $69 and no longer included this service. We then upgraded to the $99 plan that included Calendar ...

"Used to be my Go To Recommendation"

What do you like best about SimplePractice? I liked the original pricing plans that included most of the basic services my small practice required (website scheduling widget, appointment reminders, forms). What do you dislike about SimplePractice? Simple Practice with minimal warning increased the monthly price for basic features astronomically - citing the addition of mandatory features my practice doesn't use or need. The plan I originally chose was suddenly no longer available. When I ...

Bring back calendar sync or I’m out…

It took a while to learn and although I thought price was steep for what I used, I kept it. Now they force me to pay an extra $10 to integrate a video system that is equal to or less than psychology today and took away the wiley plans (which were also weirdly inconsistent). On top of that the calendar sync was eliminated and nothing was said! I suddenly thought my icalendar was messed up but nope. I think it’s very greedy and inconsiderate to suddenly eliminate something as basic as ...

Price Change

Love simple practice and all that it offers. It feels unfair to have SUCH a large spike in cost.

Meh...not awful, not excellent

I recently moved my solo psychotherapy private practice clients from Theranest to Simple Practice. Overall, I am happy with Simple Practice. It gets the job done. However, a major disappointment compared to Theranest is SP has much slower self-pay payouts. I don't take insurance and all of my clients pay me the morning of their appointment via Stripe CC through Simple Practice. It always takes a minimum of 2 business days to receive payment in my bank account whereas Theranest paid me the ...

Recent price change leaves minimal value for single practitioners. I ended up switching to powerdiary.
