Terrible practice manager
I have used SimplePractice for years. As a single practice practitioner, this was a great practice manager. Unfortunately, with price hikes, constant issues with the clearinghouse for billing, an unreliable telehealth platform it just isn't worth it anymore.

Don’t use this software
They price gouge, the software has bugs in it, their support is terrible and the workflow in the software is confusing. They also previously paid me to not leave a negative review. The company and the products are not worth your time or money. Stay far away! SimplePractice will monitor the reviews on here and solicit customers to take them down or change them.

SP came highly recommended a few months…
SP came highly recommended a few months ago so I joined. With the price hike that comes with teletherapy, which I don’t need, and leaves out calendar sync, which I do need, I will probably switch to another EMR. The other issue for me is that it is geared toward other professions and not SLP. Many of the trainings they offer are not relevant to my practice.

Avoid
Avoid. Crazy price hikes, they take away services and then force you into a higher pay scale to get them back.. Veeery slow to make basic changes and upgrades in responce to user requests, overall poor customer care, and not enough well trained help to respond to issues thru their chat windows causing delays in resolving issues. poor communication when they have tech issues. Regret choosing them. Find a EHR who's priority is their customer that is definitely not SP.

"Bye bye Simple Practice"
What do you like best about SimplePractice? It used to be easy to use but now it's over priced and full of bugs What do you dislike about SimplePractice? Very poor customer service. Over priced. Full of bugs. No longer user friendly. What problems is SimplePractice solving and how is that benefiting you? None at the present time. Shopping for a new solution

Bait and Switch
I have used Simple Practice for over 5 years now for my private practice. They used to be a really great company, but have become very greedy in the past year. I am a single member private practice, and the price gouging from Simple Practice is very impactful for mental health practitioners like myself, who already don't make much money. The new pricing from Simple Practice is nearly double was it was before, with only a couple of months notice. They know that many of us are already very ...

Recent changes diminish satisfaction with Simple Practice
While Simple Practice has helped me to organize many functions of my psychotherapy practice, I'm told by colleagues that it is new ownership which accounts for the company's recent shift to far less customer-friendly practices and pricing which makes this product among the most expensive among many similar services. They seem to have actively abandoned any genuine intention to maintain customer satisfaction, despite a kind of doublespeak they use to label less service for more money as ...

Once a good company, AVOID NOW
I was a customer and happy w SimplePractice for years. They were recently bought out and now seem to be more concerned with profit vs their customers. They instituted a pricing change which gave me the option to stay at my same rate and lose basic services, such as calendar sync, or to pay 42% more to have calendar sync and a host of other functions I have no use for as a solo practitioner. They then gaslighted customers by telling them the change is to allow greater options, ignored a ...

Transforming itself from comprehensive to obsolete.
SimplePractice covers what is now industry-standard basics but is now charging more for essential features in their new tier plans. Much of the SP community is upset over the prospect of paying $100 monthly for the most expansive package including claims filing and multiple clinicians, when all they need the package for is a calendar sync option. The upcharge on this feature is unrealistic and thoughtless. They have responded dismissively to the community’s complaints and have no interest ...

new pricing plan is misguided and unacceptable
Simple practice’s new pricing plan leaves much to be desired for solo practitioners who do not use all of its tools and functions. Rather than create a more reasonable pricing plan somewhere in the middle the company created a low cost version with limited functionality and is now charging $99 for what was once $59. The company claims it was founded and developed by therapists so I wonder how they have become so disconnected from the actual needs and realities of those of us still trying to ...
