I actually like SimplePractice and was…

I actually like SimplePractice and was sold on the previous price $69 but then it went up to $99 which is a bit steep for a business just starting off. I would recommend SimplePractice to my peers who are looking for an online platform for their business. Outside of the price increasing I am pleased with SimplePractice.

disappointed and feeling misled

As many others are noting, the price increase came at a shock. I have a group practice and transitioned to Simple Practice RIGHT before they upped the price. It would make sense to at least honor the quoted price for a year rather than forcing people into it just as we started seeing clients on the platform. I appreciate the "website" but if you're a group practice, the owner doesn't get their own profile which seems a bit counterintuitive. So even though we signed up for SimplePractice ...

"Great EHR that puts many services in one place"

What do you like best about SimplePractice? There are many helpful features of this EHR. After using others, this is the one I have liked the most. It is very helpful to have note templates, schedule integration, calendar exportation, video conference, chat functions, and great visibility for all documentation. I am writing this as I sit here on 20+ minute hold for Simple Practice customer support, after follow up to dozens of emails of unhelpful, impersonal, and time wasting 'customer support'. I am sorry I chose this platform. The customer support is terrible.

While I have appreciated this platform, the recent changes in pricing structure are unacceptable for my practice. I do not need most things in the Professional Plan but have to pay for it if I want features that were initially included in basic plan. Very overpriced...

** Edited to add: SP's reply doesn't address what many practitioners are saying; we would like an option to pay less if we are using less features.** Fairly user friendly but completely overpriced. I went from paying $99/month to $170 month as I have one employee. I don't use many of the features but have no choice to opt out for a lesser amount. I am planning on leaving for another platform soon.

Overall I like it!

Overall, I really like the simplicity of the program. It would be great if the symptoms matched the DSM5 even more explicitly. I would love to see fields talk to each other in different forms so that they populate upon opening a new form. For example, there are fields in the Discharge Summary Note that align with assessment fields and populate automatically.
