Need to be able to upload bigger PDF's and the price is a bit expensive for a therapist who is practicing alone in private practice. Also, the tier's are designed in a way that you almost have to pick one of the more expensive options. Overall, it is very user friendly and has made my practice run smoother.

This platform is streamlined and easy to use. It has a sleek look and integrates a lot of awesome features. The one major issue I have with it is the telehealth doesn't have closed captions. This is an important accessibility feature needed in my practice. The technology for this is available (used by Google, Teams, Zoom and others)

Honest review

Simple practice is really simple. It makes scheduling and writing notes easy. My only concern is that the most basic plan can be pricey and doesn't offer a treatment plan or discharge summary template. And also it would be nice to have monthly outcome measure reminders that we can send out to our clients.

Simple Practice is easy to use

Simple Practice has made the administration side of my office so easy! It is simple to use and the tutorial videos are extremely helpful.

I've tried out several EHRs and this is my favorite for it's simplicity

I've tried out several EHRs and SimplePractice has been my favorite. My only complaint with the video platform is that each session has a unique URL, so I can just send everyone a link that they can bookmark. However, everything else has been fantastic! I love the calendar integration, the ease of keeping and sharing notes, and the simple billing.

Uses for simplepractice

I use the site for seeing clients, writing casenotes, and scheduling calendar. The billing is a little bit complicated due to the fact I use an outside biller.

User friendly

As a new therapist, SimplePractice was very user friendly. I chose it over TherapyNotes because I could create my own forms for clients to complete electronically. I also really appreciate the email reminder and autopay features. I marked it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is really expensive to upgrade to the version that has secure messaging.
