I love Simple Practice

I love Simple Practice! When I first started in private practice I didn't think I needed to invest in an electronic record. After trying it for free for 30 days I realized it's so worth it and makes managing my practice so much easier in so many ways. It's very user friendly and I also love that there's an app for my phone!

The reports are great too, knowing what you make for the month and the history of client no shows and number of appoints is a great feature and will be even better after my first year. Simple Practice is ideal for me as a solo practitioner in private practice. Because it is designed for small practices, I don't have to adapt things to my needs. I have had a very good experience using simple practice. As a new private practice clinician using simple practice helped me easily streamline my caseload and keep my records organized. I find it easy to submit my claims electronically and this saves me from having to hire someone to bill for me. I also find their program very user-friendly and am impressed with their customer service team.

Overall I like it and it helps my practice run smoother

The features I like about SimplePractice is being able to send all the necessary paperwork to clients via a client portal, being able to attach paperwork to session notes, notes being sent to both clients file when seeing couples or families just to name a few. The system seems easy to navigate through for the most part. The mobile app for Android could improve. It has basic functions that I have found helpful to my practice.

I have enjoyed using Simple Practice. I am a psychodynamic psychiatrist and wanted to move to a paperless, EMR system. The complexity of other EMRs seemed intimidating and redundant. Simple Practice is very modifiable to my needs. I enjoy the Billing portion. I do not bill insurance companies, but I provide statements for my patients to submit.
