Easy to use and great customer service

I grateful to the practitioners who recommended that I use SimplePractice for all of my private practice documenting and billing needs. It is relatively easy to learn, with great calendar options that link to your notes and billing...a detail that I love to use. The customer services has been very helpful as well.

SP does it all for private practice

SimplePractice made moving into private practice a breeze for me. It allows me to be CEO, CFO, admin, and counselor with ease! It does everything I need it to do, and things I didn't realize I needed. And if I can't' find answers to questions through the online help tutorials, blogs, and videos, I think the customer service is stellar, quick thorough responses; and good online community and forum to see how other folks have created their best practices with the system.

Overall

Overall, I am very happy with SimplePractice and it's interface. It does truly make running a practice more simple, and it's nice to have everything all in one place. However, there are a few changes I'd like to see that would make running a mental health practice more efficient.

Most of it is very intuitive

Most of it is very intuitive! The ability to customize is very helpful, & entering new clients is fast & easy. Having to move through availability & client schedule gets a little frustrating, wish they were both on the same screen.

Billing issues unacceptable

Billing issues unacceptable. Love the portal, love the online tools. Billing-it lumps claims together and posts weird to accounts. Doesn't always write off the amounts on the ERAs that come through. Most importantly I cannot file electronic secondary claims. Insurance companies do not get or do not like the way simple practice attached the EOBs. This is resulting in lost money. When addressed...suggestion is to file outside of the program. Why am I paying for this? Uses stripe and stores ...

Simple Practice feels so intuitive and…

Simple Practice feels so intuitive and has really helped me to address the areas of my practice that are most challenging to me...insurance billing and fee collection. The platform has also helped me to embrace electronic medical records. Overall my practice feels so much more streamlined and 3 months in I am already seeing a huge increase in my income. Simple Practice is a really good fit for me and I would highly recommend it to colleagues.

What do you like best about SimplePractice? I like the simplicity of planning arrangements without finishing heaps of preparing of how to do as such. I value the stripe Visa framework that is incorporated with the product as this was one concern I had of tolerating installments from customer. What do you like best about SimplePractice? I like that the designers are ceaselessly getting criticism and tolerating contribution about their clients' wants for how to add to and further build up the program. I've been using it for about a month…

I've been using it for about a month and I'm slowing phasing in features. So far, so good. It does everything it claims to do and things seem to work pretty well. I had one support question and the support folks got back to me quickly with a solution. I found the recorded classes to be the most helpful in learning how to navigate the program.

SimplePractice is so easy to use and professional. The system makes setting up appointments easy, and the automated reminders are professional and help with confirming appointments. The notes templates are also a plus!
