You can not cancel

The service is good until you try to cancel. Having cancelled my service and received email confirmation, I have been overcharged for 11 months and the customer service keep giving excuses for not being able to find my account. It is appalling.

Cant update payment details & no answer

Cant update payment details for weeks now and didnt get any answer to my inquiry! I will cancel subscription if I dont get any response for a week more, it is not worth it...Ticket #3461685

So apparently this has been happening to way too many people. I have canceled my membership and you guys are still charging me. I have deleted my account that now I can't even login to verify what the heck is going on. Please have some integrity and stop mooching off of people like this. There are better ways to conduct business. In fact, what you guys are doing is just scamming people. I demand an answer from you guys and fix this immediately.

I am not in an active Scribd subscription, and Scribd charged my credit card. Support ticket was created a week ago for an explanation with no response. This company is a scam

My partner had a subscription taken from her bank account of £9.99 even though she has never ever signed upto an account with scribd. Her bank’s fraud department has notified the police who are investigating the company. Emails was sent to the company and a ticket number obtained, but never no reply. Of course there will be a reply from the company to this review, stating ‘Send us your ticket number and we can sort this for you’ That is just another part of the scam so people believe ...

Very misleading, not unlimited

Following a cornea transplant I decided to pay for a year's subscription to Scribd with excitement that I could listen to audiobooks all day every day with the unlimited service. After 2 weeks of blissful listening, suddenly every single audiobook disappeared. After contacting customer service I was told that this is normal and they call it a rotation and I would get access to some audiobooks back in a couple of weeks. I would give 0 stars! Scribd lured me to their site by advertising a product that I had searched for and only told me after I had given my bank details that it wasn’t available! I cancelled immediately but they still took money weeks later. I contacted and requested a refund, they did not reply and have just taken more money! I have not used the site/service.
