Scribd took £9.99 without warning after the free month. I had absolutely no email about the payment. The first I knew was seeing it in my Paypal account. I didn't notice the 1st payment and have only seen it now. I tried to get a refund but they make it so difficult I have given up! I have simply cancelled the payment from Paypal now.
