You do not need to give your cards security number to set up a direct debit. Scrib asks for it indicates to me that they want the ability to take your money at any time and you will have a hard time stopping them. Do not give them your security number. In my opinion Scrib is a big con to steal from you.

can not stop to the end of the month, it adds an other month. The content is a weird mix of unusable old books, 10 year old sport results or manuals of old machines mixed in various languages.

I would rate this godforsaken website 0 stars if I could because they doesn't even deserve 1. It holds any file that you want for ransom, either you upload a file so they can profit more, you pay a stupid amount of money or you don't get the file. Screw them

I wish I had read these before I signed up. What a mess. Absolutely appalling and I will be complaining to my credit card company as they should not be dealing with these people. They have a score of 1.7. I don’t have the energy to explain everything or lose anymore time. I cancelled several times and they keep billing me for a service I never used. Is this supposed to be an improvement? Not only is it harder to read and access everything because you have to switch between two different apps, the scribd app has deleted all my old downloads rather than transfer them to Everand, so I have to download them all again.

Betrug! They are stealing money. I had to block my credit card because they keep stealing my money without consent. Update after Scribd answer: I proceeded to send everything, but no response was given. I contacted American Express to block the payments, they did, but Scribd being a thieves company always changes the account number and continues to steal money from me.
