I've had a lot of fun

I've had a lot of fun. Been able to read and listen some books, use some working materials and I have also taken advantage of the complementary services such as the Curiosity Stream and Comic. I'm delighted. Thank you very much.

Not a Bad Deal

I found Scribd while conducting research for one of my graduate courses; I stayed because it is actually a good product for the price. They do not always have what I am looking for, but Scribd has what I am looking for often enough to warrant four stars.

I love the variety of subjects

I love the variety of subjects. I enjoy learning so being able to find audiobooks that I can listen to and learn from while doing mundane tasks is awesome. The reason for the rating of 4 instead of 5 is that you have to have a relatively newer phone to use it. I was having trouble for months before I found out that it was actually my phone that was the problem. One book would work great & the next would have all kinds of problems. I remember I clicked the 'cancellation' button! then I thought I have completed the procedure, but I didn't know I have to scroll down to complete it!! I usually don't check my credit card statement so Scribd charged me for a few months until I realised it. They only offered me refund for a month although the account was literally left idle after the trial - I only used it to download ONE single document, how expensive is it! There are also no emails regarding my subscriptions after the ...

This company makes it impossible to…

This company makes it impossible to cancel your subscription. I have tried online over 3 times over the course of many months - I’ve also tried to rectify this with their useless chat bot and they don’t provide any way to talk to or chat with an actual person. Their website says I’ve canceled, and then I still see the auto payments continue to show up on my bank statement. My next course of action is to report them for fraud with my bank. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!!!!

Good selection, no complaints at all

I use Scibd for audio books and have found a good selection, lots of variety. I also use it for research on past articles, Kindle books, pdfs and podcasts. It's my 'go to' app for any text.

CON ARTISTS These people charged my credit card for 3 months after I cancelled the trial. They must keep hidden buttons on their cancellation page or auto-renew annually. You can forget talking to a living breathing empathetic human being. All you get are automated robots for customer service and unanswered emails by a company managed by morally corrupt scammers. Don't walk, RUN away from Scribd. Why are you still reading? I said RUN!
