Better for me than the library.

I was going to use Scribd to augment my library privileges, but I barely use the library because nothing is available there and I’m finding everything I need on Scribd. I enjoy the audiobooks and the craft books and magazines where I can look at patterns as much as I want.

User-friendly and decent variety

Scribd has a good selection of audiobooks and ebooks available and is very user friendly; however, new release/recently published books are not typically available.

Avoid! Scam that denies access to books and audiobooks

The service is "unlimited" as long as you don't use it. Save a series of books and audiobooks to read later, and after you've read one of them, you will suddenly find the rest are no longer available until the day after your next monthly payment. The only available titles are budget releases not in your saved list. So its unlimited, but not for anything you actually want to read.

Best value audio/ books platform

If you’re in to self help and the classics, you can’t beat Scribd for value and flexibility of format - audiobook or text based. They don’t have every book or all the latest releases but for value it can’t be beat and I recommend it to anyone who is a voracious learner or reader.

ABSOLUTE FRAUD

ABSOLUTE FRAUD. Useless customer service. I have been charged each month for about two years and when I tried to get in touch with Scribd customer service they couldn't find an account or my card on file - BECAUSE IN NEVER SIGNED UP. It was impossible to get these people to stop charging my card and I had to get a new one. What a scam. Cancel your card if this company gets a hold of it. Not even sure what they do for a 'business'

I love Scribd !! I actually found out about its existence on TikTok and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve found all the audiobooks I was looking for that weren’t in my local library

I absolutely love this platform, I am able to continue to experience self-development from a variety of different genres of information that's tucked away on this site.

I have been happy with the service…

I have been happy with the service overall. It is difficult to tell the order of audiobooks in a series on the app, and there are minor streaming issues from time to time, but I like the variety of content overall.

Great price

Great price. Have not renewed yet so I don’t know about the items not available. I have had an issue with bookmarking something and then I start listening and then I can’t find it again which is very frustrating. I did figure out if you delete your bookmarked items that you have finished it seems to free up space and it hasn’t happened since I did that. Very inexpensive compared to audible.

I have enjoyed it a lot. I get to have books and audio. I am not sure why documenting is there but its fantastic!
