So far I've found ScribD to be a much more affordable resource than Audible. They have a wide-ranging lot of books, both literary and educational. Yes i actually agree they don't always have the top rated books, but they have actually had top Booker Prize as well as top NY times listed books. Hence I think they are a good service. I will admit I have not been the unlucky one that tried to cancel so perhaps they need to be better in responding to that. But I am a teacher and I do feel ScribD ...

So far so good

I signed up for the free trial, and so far I've liked Scribd enough to keep paying for it. The price seems reasonable to me, especially considering the large amount of content. The reason for four stars instead of five is just that there are a few authors that don't seem to have books on Scribd, but, like I said, there's plenty available to occupy me long enough that I don't expect to miss those authors too much. In particular, I like that there are lots of audiobooks, which I enjoy ...

Not unlimited... unless you like erotic fiction

The basic service is fine. There's a good selection of books, although often the older titles by an author. To help, here's a selection of the ebooks I can currently access from their "top charts": Finn - Stephen King Pastor's purity test - forbidden first time Sex stories A quickie with Kelly's daddy Rough ...

Very happy with the selection of books offered. All the big name authors as well as some of the newer less known authors.

FRAUD ALERT!!!

As many others have stated...this company assures you they will contact you prior to the end of your trial. They do not and just start charging your account without permission. They refuse to issue a refund and I had to have my bank block them from making any future charges. They don't seem to understand that a statement/promise in writing is binding by law and failure to honor that promise makes any agreement made between parties and based on that promise invalid. Therefore, they removed ...
