I absolutely loved this app when I first started using it, but now I am unable to update my payment information and can't get a response from them when I contact them through support. I have tried paying with four different cards, but says there's a problem with my card and then I get repeated reminders that I haven't paid. So frustrating.

I have been with Scribd since January 2015. I have used monthly credits, purchased extra credits and saved over 300 books, but now only the saved books since February 2018 are still saved. ALL OTHER SAVED BOOKS ARE MISSING. I FEEL RIPPED OFF. I can’t even remember every book I purchased or saved. I FEEL FOOLISH! I FEEL SCAMMED. They charged me 8.99 usd even though I already cancelled my subscription

I always use scribd during my college years and when I had my own work, I have subscribe to scrib on a free trial basis with the promse I can cancel anytime and then my card got charged today of 8.99 usd even though I already cancelled my subscription and no card details left in my account. I am already sent them an email and hopefully get my refund. Username: r8p88mercado.

I see that I am not alone. Sribd have taken two months' subscriptions from me despite my account being cancelled/deleted. I contacted them and have the email trail proving that I did all I could to allow them to rectify this with a refund. Almost three weeks later they have gone quiet, no refund and I am now left having to contact the bank to report a fraud. Shame on Scribd. 1910414 ticket

Free download means you give them your email address and then you go through the next stage once you think you have access to the file and then you have to sign up with your credit card details. What a waste of time to try to get money out of you.
