It was all good just a week ago...BAIT & SWITCH!

So I started on the 30 day free trial just like 90% of all the other consumers. The audiobooks are unlimited so I figure I can drop Audible, substantially cut down on my $100 a month vice, and as an added bonus I get my wife to pipe down about it. The selection was limited but they did have some of the titles that I've wanted to get to for a while so I was ok with it. There were 4 titles in particular that were shown as being available on 08/13/2019 (the day after my subscription renewed) ...

Scribd gets it wrong, then gets it right!

I subscribed on the 28/6/19.A couple of days later, not finding the appropriate publications, I unsubscribed...IKNOW I did, so that I would not forget and be charged.Well imagine my surprise when I received an invoice and charge to my PAYPAL account today.So I have gone back in and unsubscribed.I have taken 3 pictures of the confirmation....funny how having done this I have not received an e mail confirmation, so I have gone into my settings and clicked the unsubscribe button and converted ...

Scribd offers a great range of books

Scribd offers a great range of books, audio books, documents, magazines and sheet music all for one low monthly price. In response to some of the other reviews, it is clear when signing up for the free month that you will be billed unless the subscription is cancelled. The cancellation process is really easy. If you love audiobooks and reading I'd recommend giving it a go.

If there's a 0 star for Scribd I'll give them that. You know why? Knowledge is free. So those books and other articles. Now, these three stupid Scribd creators wants you to either upload your file (which could be exchanged for another file by other poeple, or sold when someone subcribes monthly), or subscribed for like 8.99 dollars a month, letting you technically access EVERY articles which used to be free. Who gets the profit? Only those three creators. Other uploaded books and articles ...

So i started a 30 day free member ship with scribd to download a car manual and then proceeded to cancel my subscription. Thought everything was okay, until my Com bank app notified me that I had paid 12.41 or something to scribd. After doing some research I have found many other people have had the same issue. I have sent them an email stating that if I'm not refunded and this happens again, I will take it further, and rest assured you, I will....

No possible way to terminate subscription. The button they talk about is not accessible. Terrible reputation, looking forward to their website closed due to multiple accounts of scamming people and dishonest business conduct.
