Scribd are thieves ...i ended my membership with them and they still charge me and i have tried to contact their support team and nothing has been done

Simply unacceptable

UPDATE: Despite Scribd reply below, I am still waiting for a reply from them formally addressing my issue and concerns, never mind my refund that is now well overdue. I cancelled my account on October 14th and received a message confirming this. Despite this, I was charged £10.79 a few days’ ago. This is simply unacceptable. Not unlimited access to titles as they claim I noticed that when I try to listen to certain audiobooks, they aren't available to me even though other Scribd subscribers do have access to those same books. When I contacted customer service, they stated that my account is basically locked until the 24th of every month and that I can still access some audiobooks. When I looked at the audiobooks that they are allowing me to access, they're books that you'd find at your grandma's house on her ...

I thought I cancelled it

I thought I cancelled it, but it looks like I did not. The reason is that when I click on cancel membership, I am taken to the next page with no clear sign it isn't done. Even though there is no clear sign you need to scroll down to continue cancelling, it's still needed. Why can't you be more honest about this process, detailing everything one needs to do, so nothing like this happens? I am sure I am not the only one with this problem, there is even an article about this.

This is SCAM!

Just started my free trial with scribd today, so far so good sound quality not quite as good as what I was used to with audible, but I’ll happily except that seeing as it’s unlimited compared to audibles 1 book a month! ...... reading a lot of negative reviews on here, all seem to be about bad experiences cancelling, let’s hope I don’t wanna cancel anytime soon!
