Stealing money from your account! Avoid!
They did not tell me that they are charging me every month for the account that I was not using. Subscription was cancelled during trial month. No emails received, nothing! They started to take money from my account, every month. Found out by the accident while checking my bank account. Shocking Customer Experience
Scribd is unable to fix a bug in their payment system to ensure that when a Customer cancels their account, the subscription amount is not deducted from their bank account. Which makes this company fundamentally incompetent. To make matters worse their Support Team is no better. They do not have human customer service.
This company does NOT, in fact, have any human, real-time customer service. I am a long time subscriber. I have been trying for over a year to get them to help with me a simple issue: their server forces me to change my password just about once a month, regardless of what I do. However, whenever I write to them about this, I receive what is obviously an automated reply, even though it is accompanied by a picture. They seem to have only two pre-loaded replies! Scam. They charged me after I cancelled my free trial. Their customer support sends you in circles and I can’t together ahold of a real person just chatting with a robot who says I can’t help you please repeat your request.

I appreciate that you are restricted based on how many best sellers you read and I was ok with that but I logged on to see half my saved books had just disappeared and now the ones that are still available and now not available in my country! This is just not true because if they are available on Audible then they are not restricted in this country! Don’t even try
Don’t even try. I had a free trial for one month, but managed listen only once as my life got extremely busy. Cancelled two days before my free trial supposed to end and on the next day they tried to charge my card for £109.99 !!!!!!

They continued my subscription after my free trial even after I tried to quit. They do not send out monthly receipts. I only found it by digging through my CC bill (shame on me). They have been unresponsive to my emails to plead to cancel my subscription. They don't recognize my password and don't send email to reset it. A total disaster of a "service"

ONLINE THIEVING
ONLINE THIEVING. Trial subscription cancelled after a couple of days as content not as described. Fees STOLEN from my bank account a month later. Update. Another month passed, Another months fees stolen from my bank account.
