SCAM!!!!!

I signup for their free trial 2 months ago, now I looked at my credit card statement to find that they charged me 9.99 for a subscription that I cancelled. STAY AWAY THEY ARE TOTAL SCAMMERS!

i just noticed a $10.95 per month charge on my credit card dating back to december 2019! what is this charge, why is it on my credit card?

My case number (#2571000). I have been cancelling this since October of 2019, I cancelled it again in March. They charged me again in April. I also wrote an email to customer service about the continuing charges and received a reply from Brittany J. saying she needed to forward my request to someone else that can assist me with this. When I can access my downloads this app is amazing. The website says we can have as many downloads as we want but after the 4th book everything I have downloaded disappears. I'm an over the road truck driver and I drive for 11 hours a day so listening to books is my escape. I feel that if we download the tiles we should be able to listen to them whenever we want no matter how many books we have listened to already.

I looked at my bank been paying for this over 6 months without noticing as lots go out each month, I looked at 2 documents cancelled after I looked and still charge me not great at all.

We can’t put zero stars? How about negative stars?? I cancelled my subscription way before my 30 days was up. It confirmed my cancellation. I didn’t receive a single email from them after that, not even anything promotional, so I had no reason to think i was still a member. Then I find out six months later I’ve been charged every month. I have never come across this company before and noticed two charges on my account. I've also never visited the website so how could they obtain my permission and details to make the transactions.

The Great Dishonesty

Last year, I was similarly charged an amount even after I cancelled my subscription before the trial period ended. It's shocking that this 'scam' still persists in 2020! I'm going to warn all my friends and students against subsribing to Scribd. Scibd - stop justifying yourself with all sorts of reasons that never seem to address the issue at all!

THE WORST

WORST academic documents on the internet & WORST customer service. I've been trying to cancel my payments for longer than a year now and all they say is that it is canceled whereas I'm still being charged. Their customer service is the worst. I also want to file a complaint against Madalynn (customer service) as she has been replying and not done anything about it. ABSURD. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Perfect example of A SCAM.
