Fraudulent Scam Artists

no matter how good the content of their actual site maybe, nothing will change the one-star I'm giving them due to the fact that they've ripped myself and many other people off. I have been charged with out my consent…

I have been charged with out my consent today of 6447 Indian rupees. It's an annual payment. And it's a big amount. I didn't receive any mail regarding renewal of my membership and didn't even received the payment receipt. What kindaa service is this? You don't even send confirmation or renewal reminder mail... Nothing. I want to cancel my subscription and need refund for the same. Such frauds!!!

Warning - awful company

I have reached out to this company multiple times, beginning March 26, 2020. I have been charged, now for two months since they will not reply to my inquiries. After leaving a bad review, they replied here for more information, and yet still have not replied to either ticket # they assigned to me. I can find nowhere that I ever subscribed to this service and they have yet to produce this information for me. They continue to bill be and ignore me. WORST Service Ever + No books you want to read

They had NONE of the books I was hoping to read, which I didn't find out until starting the free trial. I wasn't able to cancel for some reason, then was charged for renewal; contested the charge and they send me to Apple. Worst customer service EVER.

Scribd steals money Never cancels membership!

Scribd enjoys stealing from people, they do it on purpose, if you want to cancel your paid subscription, it's set up not to cancel, but to continue to charge you. I had to cancel twice and they still charged me $8.99 anyways. I have sent several emails about the problem and that I want my return back and have been ignored every time.
