ESSENTIALLY A SCAM

Wish I could give 0 stars. THEY DO NOT LET YOU KNOW WHEN THEY START CHARGING. I signed up for the free trial and after a week I knew I didn’t like it so I thot I cancelled. I never checked (because they never confirmed anything and I stopped getting emails besides some ads) and I’ve been being charged FOR MONTHS. I’m a college student and this has cost me almost all I spent on textbooks and I don’t know what I’m going to do in the fall this company is the WORST!

Slow customer service

I took up a free-trial for a month. I tried to cancel it and couldnt figure out. They charged me for the next month without any notification. I used the app once during trial but I don not plan use it for longer. Tried contacting them. No response. No customer care number. I do not recommend it at all.

FRAUD ON MY SCRIBD ACCOUNT

FRAUD ON MY SCRIBD ACCOUNT! SCRIBD, RESPOND TO ME IMMEDIATELY! Cancelled my scribd subscription ages ago, but someone has clearly been able to access my account on their website and has spent $600 on gifts of annual subscriptions to an email i've never seen. This person has has also been able to change my password. DO NOT USE SCRIBD IT HAS COST ME OVER $1000

one star too generous. for a company that deals with books you would think they would have a grasp of the english language. apparently not, as the word 'unlimited' seems to elude them. unlimited my ass. they throttled me after two titles this month, been with them almost a year. each month i get less and less options each month. be ok if they didnt lie and did what they said they will. i wouldnt bother joining, they vastly over rate themselves, and you will ultimately get disappointed and ...

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They keep taking our money without permission. When they are contacted they say they cannot find our transaction, but they still take our money. They say they will escalate our case to solve it, then never do, and then go silent. If our bank cannot solve this, we will be taking Scribd to small claims court.

Charged after free trial

I took up a free-trial for a month. I tried to cancel it and couldnt figure out. They charged me for the next month without any notification. I never used the app and still got charged. Tried contacting them. No response. No customer care number. You cant remove your credit card from the app. Please do not choose the free one month trial!!!

Frauds/scammers!!!

Frauds/scammers!!! I have been cancelling my account since april but they have taken 3 lots of money out of my account since 13th April. My bank is now involved including the fraud team! I even have emails from the company saying they have refunded my account when they haven't! DO NOT USE!!

I payed for subscription even though I cancelled it

Because of their very bad, designed for stealing system, I payed 60 bucks for nothings. I was cancelling my subscription every month but I DONT KNOW KNOW I was still paying this. They are stealing money

ENTIRE author catalogues suddenly unavailable? I don't think so.

I'm extremely unimpressed with the service this month. I've used this site a lot over the last few years and something has definitely changed. Every book I try and download is suddenly unavailable and will only be available next billing cycle. Why is this? Books available two days ago by certain authors are suddenly not available in bulk. ENTIRE author catalogues. Is it because I'm on a free trial? I didn't request the trial when I signed up again. I assumed using the same email address or ...
