Has book but no help and does not allow subscriptions.
1. Credit card processor does not work on site and they do not accept pay pal or google pay. The entire payment system is broken on scrib.com 2. support.scribd.com/ refuses to help users. They do not answer questions or respond in any way. I waited over a week, NO response. They have books but they do not allow subscription to site. Amazon is 100X better, I seriously tried 5 credit card, 2 paypal and 1 google pay. Scribd returns the SAME error message. WASTE of precious time. Extremely ...

Scribd overcomplicates the cancellation…
Scribd overcomplicates the cancellation process to make it more likely for you to not complete the cancellation. I thought I cancelled the process 4 months ago and never used their services since. I have cancelled and sent a ticket for a refund but have yet to receive a reply

Scribd's a hoax
Scribd does everything in their power to mislead you when you're trying to cancel your subscription. The visual cues and prompts are almost invisible to the eye and you have to click yourself through 10 pages before your cancellation gets final. Eventually you get no e-mail notification whatsoever. It's a hoax business.

Do not sign up to Scribd I have tried…
Do not sign up to Scribd I have tried several times to cancel my subscription. Firstly they say I am not a member even though they are taking money from my account. After sending an e mail complaining and saying I wanted to unsubscribe I got a message to say I was no longer under subscription. The vast majority of the reviews on this site fail to distinguish between the two services. The document hosting service, let's be honest, it's pretty sketchy, and it's full of annoying ads for unregistered users. Most of its users will probably only use it for one or two documents that they've been sent links for, perhaps because they're students who have got ...
