Terrible Support Team, replies after a month to say sorry

I have been 3years subscriber for SCRIBD. Just recently, I have opened a ticket and almost every other day follow ups with no response. I decided after a week to create a separate ticket complaint to follow up an ongoing ticket that has not received any heave nor sighs. and what do you know, it got the attention it deserved, but was immediately closed as resolved. not even a comment on what reason. did this three times but received same response at an incredibly immense speed. within the ...

Do not subscribe

Do not subscribe. Not only will you not be sent a subscription ending reminder ( like they happily promised to do) you will not be refunded for unused months. There are better and more honest services available.

Scribd never resolved our bogus charge

Scribd never resolved our bogus charge, and still have our money. They made multiple claims that they would resolve our complaint. But never did. The fact they can take money from a person, but then cannot find it in the system afterwards, is representative of how poorly this company seems to be run.

I didn't apply for this! Went to my bank and said it was fraud! They robbed me again from my new card!!! They screwed me up for my monthly order of Knotty Knickers. I am so angry! I have absolutely no need for e-books. I have thousands of books on disc and my e-reader doesn't connect to the internet. When I contacted the company they wanted way too much banking information for a company that already has my banking information. SCAM. 2 fraud investigations open and I'm out $25 bucks.

Don't use this service, it's a SHAMELESS SCAM

They say you have a free trial and they don't remind you when the trial is almost over. So my 30 days have passed. I had given the data of a card in which I wasn't expecting putting money there, so I could cancel without paying for the service. Well, guess what? I received a refund on that card, so Scribd immediately took out the money. On the same day they took the money I cancelled my account and asked refund. Scribd is of big help on my part

Scribd is of big help on my part! I also had bad experienced with them, but after a couple of days, they sent an email and got my subscription back. I received a month-long free for the troubled I had with them.

If you only want the free month, don't forget the start date.

Make sure you jot down when the free subscription ends because Scribed will not remind you as I remember they said they would when I signed up. I was charged for two months that I did not use.

fraudsters... when i cancelled my membership during trial no email confirmation is given... therefore I could not claim payment deducted via paypal... paypal say i have no valid claim

ticket #2834199. I joined Scribd on 17th June 2020. According to the welcome email, there're two months free trial and I would not be charged until August 16, 2020. But actually I was charged twice, on 29 June and 27th July but I haven't used any services on the website. I contacted the customer service twice via the online enquiry form and email two weeks ago but haven't got any reply. Very disappointed!

The customer service is absolutely trash. I have an unresolved request for an account that I'm being billed for even though I have no access to the account. Aside from this I enjoyed the book service but I didn't know that customer service would be so terrible. Why are there not any live operators? I've sent screenshots and everything with NO response.
