I got disgusted with these guys and decided to cancel. Checked their FAQ's to make sure I could still listen to audiobooks for the last 8-9 days of my subscription. Yes (supposedly). So I cancelled. Right after that, I found that ALL the books written by ANY authors I'd read over the last 6 months were suddenly UNAVAILABLE (till next month) - oh, except the ones I'd ALREADY READ, and old time PUBLIC DOMAIN books - big deal. Stay away

Stay away! I signed up for a “free trial,” and the monthly charges were still withdrawn from my account, even though I cancelled in the proper time frame. Email customer support is nonsensical at beat. I even provided a screenshot for the withdrawal. I plan on figuring out how to block their access to my account. Definitely not worth it!

Something is not quite right here

I downloaded Scribd on my iPhone 8plus device in March and I took a break from the monthly subscription for about two months now. I have been trying to continue my membership by resubscribing but I keep getting a message saying that I am unable to subscribe at the moment and I should try again later. major problem with account

I really like Scribd! But they refuse to take my money and credit card. It's almost impossible to start a membership. Sent many support request, not a single reply. I give up, if this is how they run their business then they deserve a negative rating... UPDATE: I tried everything to renew my account. Nobody at Google is responding. Now my account is cancelled because they REFUSED to take my payment despite going out OF MY WAY to give them money. I am not looking at alternatives.

WORTHLESS Product Support - NO responses.

Since they were screwing with my list of "saved" (for future listening) books, I contacted their supposed "product support" people with questions.ZERO responses to my questions - but they marked them as "completed" or "solved". Worthless, and the crap they were pulling on me continued.

Crash City

I love Scribd; it is the best deal on everything they carry. Unfortunately, the iOS app crashes CONSTANTLY. It's incredibly irritating. Why bother even having an app if it isn't going to work? If I couldn't access stuff from my browser, I would have quit my membership for that issue alone. I have complained to them, to no avail. I purchased this subscription but it dont have a good selection of books

Limit your selection

Pretty good selection of books but they limit you to how many you can read per months. They take away all the new books you add to your library until your next month of subscription. I don’t like this app at all.
