Does Scribd defraud? - No, but a chaotic IT-administration

On 17/09/2020 I created an account at Scribd.com. They promise on their website that they will send a reminder before the ending of the test period. But they do not!!! They withdrew my money without the reminder mail. I wrote twice to their support - no answer yet. Do they calculate that people don't react because of only 9,99 EUR? I cancelled my membership twice but scribd kept taking money from my account. This is a horrible website that isnt worth the money in the first place. crooks!

Took my money without my permission

Scribd reactivated my account without my permission and took a monthly subscription fee out of my bank account. Had I not spotted it in my bank statement I would not have known.

First of all, I have NEVER even subscribed, yet “3” of my company credit cards have been compromised by an unknown individual who has an account with Scribd. I now have bank fees because they stole my money

I signed up for the free trial only because they assured me that my card wouldn’t be automatically charged when the trial ended. They charged it anyway and now I have bank overdraft fees to pay.
