I thought I cancelled my membership a year ago - turns out there were many steps to continue with the cancellation so be sure to scroll down every page of the process! Have been charged for 2 years of membership without a single email notification of monthly payment. Save your money, and keep your card details away from this con company.

Fraudulent and unethical

I can’t believe this company is allowed to operate! I just found out Scrbd has been charging my credit card for years to the tune of around $250 total. I never used the company and they never received I would recommend you stay away from this company at all costs. I had to cancel my credit card and dispute this charge, due to this fraudulent company.

I had an issue of getting charged for multiple months but the Scribd staff was quick to respond and resolve the problem.

Buyer Beware - Fraud

I cancelled my account in February 2020 because I didn't like the features. All of a sudden my credit card was charged in November 2020 and I don't have an account at Scribd. I tried contacting someone at Scribd and they won't help me unless I give them my entire credit card number and other personal information. I filed a claim with my credit card company so I should be able to recoup the charge. Beware and steer clear!

Fraud site

I signed up and they attempted to take money before the trial ended. I promptly cancelled the trial and they are still trying to deduct from my account. They won't let you remove your card from the site and cancelling a trial means nothing to them. I don't even use the service. I have since deleted my account, I'm waiting to see if they continue to attempt taking money. This site is not worth the hassle!

Can't contact for refund for something I don't use

I haven't used it in more than 6 months - probably closer to a year, I don't remember. I did unsubscribe, but don't have proof. Just got charged $92 for something I don't want. Can't get a refund on their site, and there's no way to contact them except for a physical address. Update: Although I couldn't find any way to contact them on their website, they did contact me here the same, and promptly gave me a refund. Thank you Scribd for responding so quickly.

not working, lost money

I am waiting for a reply from support. My account was deducted 2 months twice for a payment, but when I log into account it does prompt me to get subscribtion and cant access anything. I asked for returning my payments and cancelling subscribtion. I do not recommend. Hope they will clear the situation. Brazen Fraud

I signed up for a trial in 2018 and cancelled immediately. I received an email confirming my cancellation had been processes. And didn't hear from the. Fast forward to 2020 and I my credit card is expiring so they ask for a new one, so they can keep taking payments. I have never received any receipts for deductions taken and they are not on my list of App subscriptions. I sent them their cancellation confirmation letter, and they refuse to tell me how many deductions they have made, they ...
