Double-charging for 9 months
I had inadvertently signed up for two separate Scribd accounts, and so paid for two subscriptions for about 8 months before realising I had signed up twice. Now why did I not realise that I had two accounts? Because although Scribd charged me twice every month, I was only able to access Scribd through ONE of my email addresses, leading me to think I had only one account. When I raised this with Scribd, they refunded me only the latest charge, when this had gone on for 9 months. They then ...

Absolute scam. I tried cancelling 2 times now, but they keep billing me every month. Do NOT sign up for this.

Dishonest company that's meaning to TRICK you
I had two emails subscribed to Scribd trying out the one month free trial. I cancelled both of the subscriptions before the deadline. I received TWO email confirmations that both subscriptions were cancelled and YET I was charged for 7 months in a row now. They are incredibly dishonest and now I find out their refund policy only allows one month refund? If they had a WORKING system, I wouldn't have been charged in the first place! If the fault was mine, I will pay for it. The accounts were ...

Scribd is dishonest and not trustworthy
I tried using the free trial and decided I wouldn't use it much so I opted to cancel it after the trial ended. There was a glitch in their system and it did not cancel my subscription. I have been charged for 7 months without my knowledge. I tried getting a refund and they refuse to reimburse me my money for something that is entirely due to their faulty system. There is a level of integrity that all companies need to have and Scribd is dishonest. This is outrageous and obviously a scam to ...

Removes access if it thinks you read too much
The company removes access if it thinks you read too much. Save your money No confusion. Books are grayed out when you read too many and then you are told they will be available after your monthly subscription is paid. Lies, lies, and more lies .... does Trump own this company?

Scam. Scribd will continue to charge you even after you cancelled the subscription.
I wanted to try scribd so I signed up for the free trial. After using it for a week, I decided that I would not use it regularly enough so I cancelled it before the trial ended. This however, was not registered on the system and they have been charging me for 7 months without my knowledge. This is an error in their system and they refuse to refund me my money. The people I spoke to were rude and they were unable to resolve the issue. Why I am being punished for a system glitch? They closed ...

Horrible service
Horrible service, I have been trying to pay for a subscription for a week now, none of my cards seem to work (they work perfectly fine elsewhere). I have raised multiple queries which they just open and mark as "solved" without even replying to it.

Terrible! Don’t even try the free trial
I did a free trial and cancelled in the free trial period...or at least I thought so. Apparently when you submit your cancellation you need to confirm about 3 times again and again (text is hardly visible) before you have FINALLY been unsubscribed. I missed that the first time I unsubscribed (I thought I was done once I pressed the unsubscribe button in my account settings, as is normally the case with decent companies) and as a consequence I have been paying for 6 months extra before I ...

It's a scam
It's a scam, I followed the steps to cancel my subscription but I didn't know they've been charging me monthly on Paypal for over a year, although my Scribd account was already deleted. I was too careless to not have checked twice.
