Impossible to get in contact with…

Impossible to get in contact with support. Both the phone number and the email address tell you to submit a support request online, but it is next to impossible to get to a support form. Plus the service sucked.

SCRIBD IS A SCAM

I am starting to think scribd is a scam. I am trying to cancel my free trial and I am being told that an account with my email address does not exist (even though its the email that Scribd sent my receipt and follow up notifications to) and that my password is incorrect, even though I know it isn't. Attempts to recover password and contact support have gone unanswered. How am I supposed to cancel my membership if I am being told that my account exists but wrong password but also that my ...

ScribD has the WORST customer service…

ScribD has the WORST customer service when you are trying to unsubscribe or rectify an issue! I signed up for a “free trial,” was charged anyway, I fought with them about it but they refused to refund me. But that's not the big issue, the issue is that they take SO LONG to respond (days turns into weeks!). So since I was charged for an additional month, the responses to rectify the issue took the WHOLE MONTH and I didn't get to use their service. So I basically paid for a month for NOTHING. ...

One to avoid

Terrible selection. Tried the free trial and cancelled almost immediately. Surprised to see they had charged me a months subscription so I cancelled again last month and they’ve charged me again this month. One to avoid. Edit: I’m fully aware of the business model thanks. Make it seem like you’ve cancelled but hide the “complete cancellation” at the bottom of the screen. As I said poor selection and one to avoid. Condescending customer service agents that troll reviews like a creepy jilted ex.

Awful experience. Cannot log in account after subscribtion

It is the most awful experience I have ever had. I submitted a free trial with my email address but then I cannot log in via this email to cancel it. I failed in both logging in by google or email which said my email was not registered? What the hell is that However if I tried to signed up with the same email, it said it was already registered???? I already submitted my ticket two times with the number #3255718 and #3248693 but no response since then. Terrible experience with Scribd

I listen to audiobooks when driving or doing yard work etc. I ran through their thin selection and tried to quit. Note it's much easier to quit than it is to cancel your subscription. Even after I canceled they billed me for another month. If they bill me again I'm going to raise hell with them.

Cancelation process is many pages and uses deceptive practices to make you think you cancelled however you have not yet clicked enough times to cancel. This company has taken funds from me I did not intend to have subscription.

I bought a membership to Scribd for…

I bought a membership to Scribd for $9.99 a month. After about one week of using the app, it automatically signed me out. No big deal except for when I tried to sign back in, it says my email does not exist. I know for a fact that I have the right email because I have a receipt. I tried to contact them twice but have not heard back. So, now how am I suppose to cancel my membership if I cannot log in. If they cannot find my email, am I still going to be charged monthly? Why does getting a ...

What the heck is this?

What the heck is this? I never even signed up to whatever this service is YET I have been magically charged? Ultimate SCAM! After reading comments I’ve seen I’m not the only one here who’s had this issue.
