Fraudulent use of your credit card

Fraudulent use of your credit card. Never sending any email if you actually subscribed let alone invoice form the sercie you"used". They wanna go under the radar. I cant review the service itself as I never used it. Some say they charge you for downloading public domain. Noice. - update: dont answer here just come up with a solution.

They very conveniently advertise in big…

They very conveniently advertise in big words that an email will be sent when trial is about to end but then "forget" to send a warning message saying I was being billed before the trial ended. When you get charged for the next 30 days and ask for a refund on the same day forget it, they'll keep your money. Like 99% of the reviewers here I'm saying the same too, this is a shady business, most likely a SCAM. 80% of the reviews giving scribd 1 star says everything, they can't be wrong. I'll ...

Do not subscribe

Do not subscribe. They only care about the money and are not responsive if you encounter issues with payment. I was charged twice in a month for 3 months and am yet to receive any information on how i can receive my refund. Its been over 3 weeks since i sent an email and after receiving an automatic responds from the team I am yet to receive information on whats happening.

They charged 9.99 after a free trial…

They charged 9.99 after a free trial that I can not cancel. Emailed them and they refused to refund because I opened a dispute. DO NOT EVER SIGN UP FOR THIS SCAM SERVICE.

Don't subscribe to this service because it's a scam

Don't subscribe to this service because they are running a scam! They promise unlimited books per month but in reality you only get to read or listen to two or three. I saved a bunch of audiobooks and listened to two in entirety. The other books became unavailable until after the next billing cycle including a true crime book I was in the middle of listening to. Not worth the hassle.

Don’t try this

Don’t try this, free trial is not free. After canceling my subscription they automatically took 9.99€ from my account. After reading other reviews I have changed my credit card. I’ve been reading about people that are still being billed after a year. I won’t sit around and wait for this.

Utter fraud

Utter fraud! I've saved several books and then when I started reading them, the majority are only available on May, 26th, the day my subscription is going to end.

Scribd has the worst customer service…

Scribd has the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with. I have a combination subscription with the New York Times and can access the newspaper, but cannot access scribd anymore. Scribd is still billing me (according to my latest credit card statement). There is zero phone customer service. Scribd states that it will 2 weeks for them to respond to email or website customer service requests. In the meantime, I am paying for a service that I am not receiving.

SCAM. Still charged after cancellation of membership

Wow, double charged in December, then quit membership with a confirmation email that said that membership was cancelled as of 19. of March. Then two more charges on the 22. of March and 24 of April ????? Reading all the other comments on Trustpilot i am only shaking my head. How can scribd operate like this?? If i had read trustpilot before, i would have abstained from getting a membership with Scribd. VERY DISSAPOINTED! STAY AWAY from this.
