Fraudulent Billing

Similar to all the users below, I haven´t been able to cancel my account after subscribing to the free trial since April. I used it for one day and went on to cancel it right away and well before this free trial expiration. Even though I already have two emails from them in which the assure that the cancel went through, I´m still recieving charges. 2 hours after submitting the case to support they catalogue it as "solved" without response or solution. Case number: 3425636

Should be 0 stars fraud

My student daughter subscribed , cancelled and they have continued taking the money since Jan 2020. Despite repeated requests no reply , says membership cancelled , FRAUDSTERS. Am going on social media to blast this out to prevent other people having same problem

Cancelled my subscription before the due deadline (4 days prior) and they still charged my credit card for $13.99

There is a great amount of content on scribd, including documents uploaded by users.I've had a real problem with their customer service, which is that it continually takes longer to process simple requests. I have been waiting more than a month from an invoice now. At this point, they would charge me again and I'd need a new invoice too. I wish I had the options for 0 star(s). When you go to leave this company, make sure you cross your t's and dot your i's, they will continue to charge you, if you set an auto-pay account, and if you don't realize it right away, don't expect to get that money back, even if you have not been using the service. Also, try getting a hold of them by phone, before you decide to subscribe to their service! Good Luck to that!

Unauthorized Deduction despite no membership

Unauthorized Deduction despite no membership My account says that there is no membership, but still the amount has been deducted from my bank account. Don't know how scribd is deducting amount from the customer accounts. I've already raised a complaint on their website . Support ID Number : #3400764 Regards, Saundarya
