100% Fail!
Long and short, our experience with the Revel systems POS (our intent is to use it in Retail application) has been a nightmare. The problems started early on in being sold hardware components that were not designed to work in the way we needed to utilize them - despite us being very detailed in what we needed - and despite the Sales reps assurances they would (specifically the barcode scanners and printers). Since we started using Revel Systems in …
Since we started using Revel Systems in our Establishment we have full control of everything. The variety of solutions you can install in your POS is incredible, we can now know what is happening every moment anywhere. Also the support team is very effective I had an answer to every issue I had installing the POS.

A Very Simplistic System
A very simple system with major room for improvement and user compatibility. The system is quite helpful in it's ability to manage point of sale transactions, however when it comes to modifying and editing on the POS front side, there is little that can be done without returning to the dashboard on PC to delve into further options. Top-Notch POS System
We use Revel for a high volume restaurant. Revel's POS software and hardware are both top-of-the-line. The functionality of the server's terminals is excellent and able to be fully customized. Their back-end reporting leaves nothing untouched. Ease of setting up menus and customizing them is incredible. Full inventory tracking built-in, as is menu costing. Untrustworthy Company
Revel is a good product with an unreliable team and untrustworthy company. Most of the commitments made were not honored even after extensive followup. We had much bigger plans to go with the product but unfortunately we had roll back with our plans due to the unprofessional attitude of the team.
