A great tool to manage more than a thousand units

PROS: I like that Rent Manager is user-friendly and adaptable to what our company needs. I also like its features and that it's constantly updated to offer new ones that we can put to good use. CONS: Depending on the remote desktop can sometimes cause lags, so it would be great if this can be avoided.

Good tool with room for improvement

PROS: I like that it's easy for me to do basic tasks in managing properties. CONS: It would be even better if clicking on an item in a report allows you to see other details associated with it, including information on the property, tenant, and due dates.

Pleased to switch to Rent Manager

PROS: I love that their customer service always helps us and that it's so easy to navigate through Rent Manager. CONS: Perhaps adding more members of the support team would decrease the time spent waiting in queue for service.

Good tool for experts

PROS: I like that Rent Manager is one of the best tools I've used because managing multiple properties can be challenging if the management tool doesn't work right. CONS: It would be great to put up more modules for quick tutorials, apart from the webinars, and re-connect the FAQs for quick tips, searches and questions.

Best property management tool

PROS: I like that I didn't have to use multiple programs to manage properties because I'm now able to access everything I need in one software. CONS: I wish the learning curve to find my way around the software isn't so steep, and that the cost of additional features would be more affordable and add more value for money.

What do you like best about Rent Manager? Rent Manager's overall system setup makes it easy to use - with search function tools to help when implementing new features or applications. Additionally, the support the service team provides is top notch - we receive reliable support from their customer service team and our dedicated Account/Support Manager. One of the biggest benefits to using Rent Manager is the ability to customize the applications to suit how we manage our day-to-day business.

Misinformation-Won't Fix Issues

1. Thoroughly vetted that Rent Manager staff provided misinformation to be able to set-up their software 2. It took months to fix and delete items one by one due to incorrect data 3. Reports do not accurately report and Rent Manager refuses to fix months after reported 4. Report adds SF for same unit as no script to tell it not to add again or only to take difference in the event an audit revised the SF of a unit 5. Claim after the fact that their software is geared more toward residential, ...

Rent Manager is not recommended

Rent Manager is not recommended. It keeps you logging out, someone kicking you out, while working in the evening when no one of my co worker is using it, no one knows my password, but it showing some else is using the account. When I called the customer support, no one even tried to help me. In emergency line, I called couple of time, no one even and answered calling me back.
