I've been using Quickfile for almost a…
I've been using Quickfile for almost a year and it's great. Nice and straightforward, reports are useful and the website/app are easy to navigate. Recommended.

Amazing to be free.
Amazing to be free.I have been using it since April last year and now I can easily close the year.I would recommend 100% to anyone who's looking for a free option.

Great but NOT FREE above 300 entries
The online software is great BUT - it's NOT FREE if you enter more than 300 items per year (which is almost anyone who makes a living!) They say up to 1000 entries but they copy each purchase around 4 times into different places, then lock you out until you pay £54 per year.They also DO NOT allow cash basis accounting (as at mar21) on end of year accounts (only on VAT account)I loved the software until i was ambushed by the early lock out.The irony is that Quickfile is almost worth the fee, ...

Free app with everything I need
Free app with everything I need! Easy for me to keep track of who owes what and it's all there when I have to do my self assessment. I can email receipts to link them up and can edit invoices however I need to. One of my clients says it's the best invoicing system out of all the ones she receives.

Great for a small business owner
Straightforward to use and contains plenty of easy to follow headings and guides. A very useful programme for a small business user.

Improvements to make
Reports like account transactions are not easy to find. Migration from other software is not easy. Use of an app to upload expenses would be great.

Easy to use
Easy to use although the app sometimes doesn't seem to send invoices even though they are marked as signed. Overall the app could be much better. The website is very good though.

Why use anything else?!
UK based cloud accounting software that works perfectly. Allows accountant access to sort things at the end of the year. I've used free software before (US company) and they cut the bank feeds, hence my move to Quickfile for the last year. Quickfile is better and easier. Only very small gripe - the beta machine learning receipt reading function rarely works well (hence beta phase). Maybe quickfile should look at Wave accountings mechanism for this (constructive and not meant as a moan). ...
