Printful Reviews in July 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

DO NOT use Printful for your online store!

Printful has been excruciatingly slow to recover from the pandemic. Other shippers either have had a disaster recovery plan in place (apparently Printful did not), or the other DTG operators have experienced management who can pilot them through a crisis which Printful lacks. The site is easy to use with many features however so overly priced and having to go through all the efforts of designing shirts and selling them and how much they charge for tax and shipping it all isn’t worth the $1-3 per sale. FINALLY got my order today.

FINALLY got my order today. After 4 weeks. The backpack was "made" I guess printed up, in Tijuana ( this is according to the gentleman who relied to my email enquiring why the shipping dates kept changing). The backpack is super good quality and full of spongey pockets and is made from sturdy canvas. I am well impressed with it and the printed images are clear and chunky and lovely. Terrible for Amazon/Ebay stores - NO regard for customer service, delivery windows. Dishonest support answers.

I run an Amazon store, a shopify store and an ebay store. I integrated printful to do some of the on demand printing. When Covid started, there seemed to be a mad rush to get my orders fulfilled as if they wanted to rush production before they got shut down. Then mid April every week a new change would happen with fulfillment times. Constantly changing their "window" on previously existing orders even though the orders were already placed under the delivery windows published at the time. So ...

What do you like best about Printful? I love how easily Printful integrates with my Shopify store. Once you have everything set up, everything else is automated. The quality of the majority of products is good. I like the customization option for the packaging that makes it looks like the product shipping directly from my organization by including our logo and other information.

Printful excuses & lack of accountability!

My customer has made multiple orders, the first order (made on April 25th, 2020) has had no shipping updates since May 16th, 2020 (when it was sent "abroad"). The first time I notified Printful, I was told to tell my customer to wait until July 2nd, because shipping out of Frankfurt is delayed. I told them it probably was lost in transit, still... they said July 2nd. Then on July 6th, I contacted them because the order was not yet recieved. I set my profit at $9.39

I set my profit at $9.39, when my first client made his order I saw that my profit was $0.80 !!! There is no way to contact them and I would really appreciate an explanation. cheers

I thought I did enough research before choosing to move forward with Printful. I spent a lot of time building my e-commerce website, creating product templates, and linking them to my website.
