What do you like best? PowerSchool is adaptable and easy to use. You do have to know or learn some coding to adapt it, but PowerSchool University and various PS user groups can help with this. What do you like best? The reporting functionality that is offered. What do you dislike? It can take too long for the state reporting updates to be made available. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Attendance issues and the areas which are causing issue for us. We are using this data to help increase our student attendance.

Best of Class SIS

What do you like best? PowerSchool is a highly customizable and adaptable Student Information System. I have been using the product for roughly 17 years and have seen it go through some struggles and transitions. This is a positive in my mind though because the product is not left to remain stagnant. What do you like best? PowerSchool has the ability to modify/customize pages very easily. Standard reports are good and custom reports can be written in multiple ways. What do you dislike? What do you like best? We are self-hosted which makes it easy to manage the back-end of the database. Oracle is a stable, robust, and reliable platform. What do you dislike? The disruption of service as PowerSchool acquires more products and integrates them into the existing SIS platform is frustrating. What do you like best? It's all in the name! PowerSchool has a robust database, great customization, and an attractive interface for teachers, students, and parents.
