Avid PowerSchool User for 10+ Years

What do you like best? I like the ease of use of PowerSchool. I have never really had any issues trying to accomplish what it is I need PowerSchool to do. Also getting my staff and teachers trained is easy with little to no refresh needed due to the simplicity of the product. What do you dislike? I really only have two small issues. The need to customize in some cases is a little annoying but PowerPak took care of most of my issues. And the fee management could be a little better. ...

What do you like best? The system is really intuitive, there's logic behind most of its design What do you dislike? Some areas make no sense. Object Reports (and all its types) feel broken from its conception. I believe there should be an easier way to work with them. What do you like best? Powerschool can be used by parents to view student grades from their phones. What do you dislike? There is no Android App for teachers to use their phones. Sometimes the program does not load properly on parent phones and displays incorrect or zeros for the grades. Powerschool is mostly user friendly and easy to navigate for most.

What do you like best? The best thing about Powerschool are the numerous reports available. What do you dislike? I dislike the fact that you have to be a computer programmer to get a report card, or a transcript out of powerschool. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The Reports are easy to run and read, it makes state reporting fast and accurate.

What do you like best? I love that I can quickly access student information no matter where I am. What do you dislike? I would like to see a more user friendly app for iOS devices. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Attendance is simple, as well as lunch count, and accessing student information .

Way ahead of the curve

What do you like best? PoswerSchool is way ahead of the curve in having their product in compliance with new Arizona state requirements. PS is ready, the state of AZ isn't! PS is better able to answer the ins & outs of submitting the info than the state itself! I was in a webinar earlier this week on the new CTE reporting requirements. What do you like best? I have never seen a company that stand by their product as much as PowerSchool. Through PowerSchool University, User Groups, Certification Programs, the PowerSchool Insider, Knowledgebase, and additional trainings, they give you every tool you need to be successful with PowerSchool SIS. What do you like best? What I like most about PS is how user friendly it is, it is easy to navigate, pull reports, make labels, and easy to make changes. What do you dislike? What I would hope would change is that if we are importing information using a different system, that all information would be imported into PS smoothly.
