It's not that good at the user end.

What do you like best? It handles grades, weighting, and attendance well enough at the classroom level. What do you dislike? The reports are atrocious, and not easily configured. The way you access them is in no way intuitive. The system is slow to respond to industry change, EVERY time Java or MS or any other part of the technology chain does any updates, PowerSchool is weeks behind. I started as attendance secretary, was school registrar, was the district data specialist and now I'm the PowerSchool administrator for the district. What do you like best? Information is easy to find and is clearly laid out. What do you dislike? The text boxes don't expand as you type. It is difficult to review what you have written if you can't see at all at the same time. What do you like best? What I like best about PowerSchool is the ability to easily customize to fit our individual needs. What do you dislike? Powerful with a few confusing choices

What do you like best? It's easily the best school-wide SIS out there. Powerschool takes care of what could have been 20 different systems, all packed into one. It can even launch complimentary programs. With that said, too much in one product can cause clutter and slowness. This isn't the case with Powerschool. What do you like best? I like the UI/UX design of the whole system. It utilizes a simple bootstrap-esque design which means it's very aesthetically pleasing. Moreover, the left navigation content is so easy to navigate and use. Also, the grading system is easy to navigate. What do you dislike? I do not like the limitability in the printing function. What do you like best? Ease of use and mobility. Gradebook is very intuitive and seating charts are very helpful. What do you dislike? Log entries screen remains problematic - and has been for many years. It would also be nice to have more search functions on the Admin side and in PowerTeacher to easily sort by different variables. Helping our school become more efficient with data.

What do you like best? Our instance of Powerschool is hosted directly from Powerschool LLC which has made maintenance and connectivity much easier than with previous systems. Also there's a huge array of customization options to help tailor your Powerschool server to fit your schools' needs (depending on the level of change this may require an in house HTML specialist or work with a 3rd party to help facilitate this. Easy to Use Database for our Schools

What do you like best? I can find information on any students easily in Powerschool Powerschool allows us to work with Clever to create accounts that are consistent across all software and applications that we use. Powerschool helps us with attendance, grading, accounts, and even in the cafeteria. Anything I need, I can find in Powerschool and it is even helpful for parents. What do you like best? I really like how easy it is to mark students absent or in attendance. What do you dislike? I can't think of anything that I don't like about it!
