What do you like best? I LOVE that I can keep students up to date. They know exactly what it going on and can double check assignments, grades, etc. ALL on Haiku! I can also collect assignments in one place, better for the environment and less papers I am carting around. What do you dislike? Many students have a LARGE learning curve on dropbox. What do you like best? It is very organized and houses a lot of the information I want to find about my students during the day. What do you dislike? It is not the most intuitive. It requires multiple drop down menus in some places and can be kind of a rabbit hole when trying to find information. What business problems are you solving with the product? What do you like best? I have worked with other SIS programs and have found that Power School is the most user friendly software. You can customize reports export data. All your school operations is centrally located making it easy for the different school departments to communicate with each other. No longer having to change demographic information in 5 different places just change it once in Power School and it changes in every facet and is updated instantly so others can see the change ...

Frustrating at best.

What do you like best? Figures the grades and it is fairly easy to add new grades in and copy them across classes. What do you dislike? Poor user interface. Multiple open windows or programs necessary. (Minimum is two grade book and a web browser for attendance. Difficult to figure out how it works without help or where to find reports. What do you like best? How easy it is to navigate the pages and the tabs are chunked out nicely to find exactly what you are looking for. What do you dislike? There really isn't anything I don't like about this program. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? School Grades, info on children activity and productivity.

What do you like best? It is very easy to navigate, everything was broken down appropriately and things were easy to find. It is helpful to have symbols next to the student's name to inform if there are additional services/needs the child has. The variety of reports the software can generate is incredibly helpful. What do you like best? My (new-ish favorite part of the PowerSchool platform is customization via insertion points and plugins. Insertion points allow users to customize pages without the need to rebuild links & other data each time a PowerSchool update changes that page's coding. Plugins allow PowerSchool to become modular, adding functionality simply by browsing for the zipped plugin file and clicking "Install".
