  • Reviewers find it easy to integrate, with a straightforward, well-documented API.

  • It connects to a wide range of banks and financial institutions across the US.

  • A secure, seamless way to verify bank accounts and authenticate ACH transactions.

  • It doesn't work with some banks and services, and lacks a status page for smaller banks.

I've never EVER had a theft attempt on any of my bank accounts. Never until the day after I used plaid. Then I'm getting emails from my bank that the attempt to change my password or get access to my password hint has been denied and my account locked. Possible coincidence? Sure, but I don't believe in coincidence.

Absolute trash

Absolute trash. Avoid at all cost. Every time I’ve been forced to use them to make a payment I get locked out of my bank account months later because they repeat try to login on their own when there is no reason for them to be logging in.

Worst App Ever

If I could give no stars I would. This system does not look at your actual income. I couldn't even get a $50 loan because it does not reflect my actual income even through it is connect to my bank with my direct deposit. All the online loans apps use it and it is garbage. I won't recommend it to anyone. A two year old can create a better app.

I set up an Etsy store online and…

I set up an Etsy store online and within 24 hours was contacted thru Etsy messages that I needed to verify my account. The next morning there was a charge on my credit card that I didn’t make and it was for EtsyUK. My bank caught it as fraud and closed that card. So I will get a new credit card and have to go change all my accounts that have automatic bill pay to the new number. I also closed my Etsy account. It’s not worth risking what hackers can do to sell on Etsy since you have to use ...

Doesn't work with Wells Fargo

Doesn't work with Wells Fargo. It shows how bad the state of financial verification is. I don't know why businesses (like AirBNB) would use this useless, frustrating service. They are losing customers this way. And it's not the user fault, I can tell you that.

This is a horrible service

This is a horrible service. It does not work, flat out, does not work. 2 banks, 1 says no accounts exist, the other it doesn't recognize the routing account number pulled straight from the my checks and bank site.

App Won't Link Fidelity

Have made several attempts to link Fidelity accounts without success. I am very disappointed because Fidelity is a major financial institution with many account holders.

First of all wth is Plaid and why haven’t consumers been provided guidelines in writing on using this service? I have not had a pleasant experience with this.

I refuse to give over my information to Plaid. I wanted to use AirBnB but since they now use Plaid, I will no longer be using AirBnB. Bye Bye. The way business is done nowadays stinks! 🤬
