Scam
When I joined the paid AOL premium membership a year ago, the membership benefit I most looked forward to using was the 50 free prints from Photobucket. Per the benefit plan, I got a coupon code from Photobucket that I needed to use within a year. It took me hours to upload the 50 images on Photobucket but when I was ready to send, the site said that the coupon was invalid. No way to contact photobucket except thru their email and repeated queries never got answered. I called AOL and they ...

A pack of scoundrels running the show at Photobucket
Photobucket forces their logo on my old photo and then demands money if you want your picture back. Basically holding my photo hostage for a ransom. And not just a lttle bit of money, more like $400. They could have gone about this a number of different and better ways, but they chose to blindside people and their property with a seemingly unbreakable link to their spam. I guess I will have to find my original photo before I uploaded it to their godawful, ad-polluted site. This company was ...

WORST! They have erased and destroyed years of hard work and history.
I started using Photobucket years ago as did many of my friends and others in the collecting hobby and film, prop, memorabilia hobbies. We trusted using their service online in the forums to share historical records, photos, projects that we worked on etc etc. SO much history has been permenantly erased thanks to their greed and betraying their trusting users. Every image ever posted online has been erased that was stored on Photobucket and is not paid their ransom. Absolute pieces of ...

I have been using photobucket for many years. At first it was superb and a credit to it's creators...Recently it has unstable, full of adware with ads appearing more quickly than you can clear them. The whole site is geared up to forcing revenue from it's users. Failure comes through the arrogance of success. In this case the winning formula that photobucket had some years ago could have been monetised without making the platform useless!

I am outraged that I cannot access my photos because when I went on the site it blocked me telling me that I am over the limit and cannot access unless I upgrade!!! I just need to delete some of the duplicate photos that I have on there and I would probably be under the storage but they make you pay in order to do that and I think that is NOT RIGHT! Then I did upgrade to the lowest storage size for $59/yr and I received an email with my receipt that they received my pmt and still am locked ...

Avoid like the plague
Awful company. Would rather burn my family albums on a bonfire than entrust them to these scammers

Down the drain they go
Down the drain they go. And they deserve nothing else. A company treating their users this way needs to be taken out of business. It is not the fact that they want to get paid - just cutting access to pics without any notice is flat out pathetic.

Gimme back my photos!!!!
Well, I have been using it and host the photos on my blogspot for couple of years and now they want me to pay for it. It's fine. I can't even download the album that I create at Photobucket, and I need to download the photos one by one!!!! Some of the photos can't even download cause it is replace with an image saying that "Please update your account for third party hosting"!!!Omg. This is really really bad. I can't get back my photos in an easy way.
