Horrible for sellers
Absolutely AWFUL if you're a seller. They almost always side with the buyer so you lose your money AND product.

Because of the region which my Paypal account is located I literally cannot do anything with my funds, I cannot transfer it, cannot make purchases and essentially I have just given them my money with no way for me to access it or use it ever again

PayPal has been holding $4000 for a week from me.... We have been getting paid through PayPal since hurricane Laura hit up due to trouble with banks lately... They told me my account was put on limitations due to (questionable activity) $3000 and $2000 deposit from customers them the finally released my account and now I have to wait longer to transfer the money to my bank account because it needs to be reviewed...FOR WHAT they held my money for a **** week for no reason..... Zero Buyer Protection!
For basic person to person transactions, PayPal is fine. However, PayPal will not help you if you find that you need to dispute a charge with a business or company. PayPal associates themselves with companies that are complete scams and when you realize that you fell for the scam, PayPal does not help you recover your money. PayPal is nothing but a scam company
PayPal is nothing but a scam company. I bought something online for $100 and they sent me a $2 item from China. It took three months to get here and the only way PayPal said I could get my money back was if I returned it back to China even though it was shipped from California. The address they gave me was written in Chinese. After PayPal promised to refund my money they closed the dispute in the Chinese companies favor. No money.
