Instant close of case with no way to appeal

I bought a steam game code from a website, they sent me a digital game code that was already used therefor invalid and was having issues contacting the seller to try and get a refund or a replacement.So i filled a case with Paypal to try and get my money back, after a little while, they denied the case and closed it with no way to appeal - what a great process.Stay away from Paypal, they don't care about you, there's no easy way to request a GDPR data request or get in contact with a ...

after I complained they locked me out of my account

So after I tried to contact PayPal to complain about their horrible customer service (no live person on phone-telling you to submit problem online when THEY locked me out of my account) NOW they email me telling me account is locked due to suspicious activity. I log in and they want ALL of my information all over again, address, telephone numbers, social security number, etc. There is NO WAY I would enter all of that information in again. Lamentable servicio, sin atención al cliente, se demoran medio día en contestarte y cuando lo hacen no resuelven nada.Y si tienes un problema grave olvídate, a mi me entraron en la cuenta me robaron, y pay pal solo se hizo cargo de una parte de la deuda, cuando me especificaron claramente que otra persona había accedido, pasándose la bola unos a otros.Una verguenza, lamentable

I’d give no stars if that were an option. They are far more loyal to scam artist ‘businesses’ than the paying customer. If you use PayPal prepare to lose your money. They will be vague in their responses but heavily penalise you if you don’t comply with their vague requests in the manner they expect though don’t communicate as such. Utterly disgusted, done out of €75 and absolutely not a single thing to show for it.

Looks like I don't really need to tell you what I think about Paypal as if you scroll down you'll see thousands more people with similar thoughts and feelings. A very dangerous site here if you don't read the terms and conditions carefully. They have too much control of your money and will take it from your account without notice if there is a problem with a buyer. Avoid Paypal when selling!!!!!!!!!

disgraceful!keep sending me emails via the message centre but the message box doesn't even open!!! I have contacted them several times now, and explained the situation, I have also asked for a reply, they send me replies where they cannot be read properly, despite me asking them to email me directly, not through the message center. they have now left me no choice but to contact my bank to stop any further links with paypal. this service is a disgrace!.

I am really unhappy with paypay I received an empty container from ZZrays. Which I have since found out many people have been scammed by, but after being offered a partial refund from the company I took it to Paypal resolutions who found in favour of the company. This is the second time this has happened to me. Won't be using them again
