i opend a business account , then one day paypal told me i had to give them a copy of my drivers license or a copy of my militaty id . they have no legal right to force me to give them more private info , but they locked my account . now i want to cancel my account and paypal refuses to delete my account because they want me to resolve the issue first and send them my photo id for an account i want to close

PayPal is not protecting consumer rights

I am very disappointed that PayPal is not protecting consumer rights and not getting out of their way to help common shoppers. In the future, I would not recommend anyone to deal with PayPal if they want a just decision. I had the case where clearly the merchandise purchased was a much lower quality than what it was advertised (it was 100% polyester instead of 100% cotton that was promised). Jag kämpade med att få kontakt med pay…

Jag kämpade med att få kontakt med pay pal i 4 dagar.Till sist kom jag fram på chatten och de hjälpte mig att byta ett gammalt telefonnummer till ett som är aktuellt. Äntligen, tänkte jag men jag bedrog mig. Det gick inte att koppla in ett bankkonto "just nu". "Just nu" verkar räcka in i evigheten...Jag skulle bara tömma mitt paypal för att lägga ner det men förstår nu att jag inte är ensam om att ha mött deras arrogans. Vilket ruttet företag.

Paypal is not for the customer, they are protecting the vendor…

Purchased items through a company that had a US name, Bestcenterty, order # #4506 confirmed; thinking my purchase would be from an American company. I emailed Bestcenterty and was transfferred to a strange company. I received emails from that company assuring I would be very happy and it was a pleasure to serve me. Not as good as they used to be.

I've been using eBay and PayPal for over 10 years and bought over 650 items from them. The quality of their service is really going downhill. I bought an item from China and it never arrived. I had to open a case with PayPal. The seller then sent a tracking number for another item they'd sold to my country, but the postcode on their tracking number didn't match my address so it was clearly fraudulent. Seit Monaten laufe ich dem Kunderservice hinterher. Der Chat ist ein Witz, neue Messlatte für schlechten Service. Man schreibt mit 3-10 Personen die einem nicht weiterhelfen können, immer die selben Fragen stellen und nur 0815 antworten geben. Der Telefonservice wirkt sehr viel kompenter....WIRKT aber nur so. Absolutely Terrible company.I emigrated from the UK to Australia and tried to access my UK account. It wanted to verify me with a sms message code, however as I have emigrated I no longer have that mobile number. There is no way to update your number and the customer help were of no use either.
