I made a purchase on a fraudulent website that was pretending to be a Nintendo switch website. Two days later the site disappeared. They took 249.99 and did not send a product. They gave pay pal a fake or invalid tracking number. I have spent all day trying to get in contact with the agent. 2 hours later I did and when they were looking at my account they hung up! Sadly I have joined the ranks of the Pay pal scammed, I ordered an item that was a piece of junk, tried to return it and was ghosted, the email address did not exist, PayPal refused to give me any info to locate the seller, tried BBB but no luck. This started this year, before had no problems

Paypal support Scam companies and do not protect you

I have had an issue with a couple of companies via Paypal. The recent one was a company known by Paypal to be scamming its customers but Paypal still take payments for this company. When I created an incident through them Paypal agreed it was an issue but insisted I paid a further £12 to return the rubbish I had not ordered in the first place to china (the original cost had been £38 and I did not receive the items ordered).I said I would not unless the postage was paid upfront and they ...

She changed her mind and I wore it.

I sold a drum kit to a lady with an agreement to pick it up within a month. Three weeks later she claimed she was being scammed and told PayPal to give her a refund. They didn't as she simply refused to drive to me to pick it up and ruled in my favor. I then asked her to come and pick up the kit but she refused claiming I was a scammer.A week later, they then gave her a refund and there is no way to contact them to find out why.Phone inquiries states they are closed on the weekend, online ...

Shame on you, PayPal... ...assisting in scams!

My fault for being scammed in the first place, but shame on PayPal for assisting, knowingly or not, but won't listen to reasonable people. The scammers have sussed PayPal out and can now take your money, safe in the knowledge PayPal won't look too closelyPayPal have developed a complete lack of integrity and apparently, if they have a tracking number that is sufficient proof of delivery, no matter where the package was delivered.

This is just a fair warning

This is just a fair warning: If you are trying to 'chargeback' by making a refund dispute, avoid using paypal at all costs and go through your bank. The reason being is because their support won't do anything about it and will close your dispute within 5 days of them reading it, claiming that it isn't a 'billing' issue.

Paypal let's scammers steal from you.

Paypal allows their customers to blatantly scam their sellers. I will be taking my business (which does over a million in revenue a year) elsewhere. Paypal can't let this stuff happen. It breeds market where scammers run rampant.

My room mate sent me the money to pay his half of the rent through E-Check on the 20th, it has been 10 days and all it has said is "PENDING" I called Paypal all they said was it should have cleared on the 25, And of course their "customer service" was closed because i get home RIGHT when they close. As soon as i resolve this i will probably be cancelling my account STAY AWAY FROM PAYPAL

Say you purchased something for 3000$ payed thru Paypal. You tell the shop your'e not satsified with the product and they agree to do a payback. All good, money detected on Paypal, but you can never get hold of it! Your only choice is to spend it on something you maybe dont need. WITHDRAWING FROM PAYPAL WALLET TO YOUR BANK ACCOUNT IS NOT ALLOWED. At least not if you live outside US.Useless pay system. Not recommended.

I find it funny that there are reviews here that give PayPal 5 stars. They are either totally new to PayPal and have no idea about it at all, or maybe people who work for PayPal.
