I think Patreon is just another adult…
I think Patreon is just a porn or adult website, where creator can made any sort of porn or nude material, ask user to pay monthly per view. This is the platform trying to avoid the censorship of the authorities. It's a porn website with a petty name. Most of these are porn materials. Be aware.

For customers looking to obtain
For customers looking to obtain, or access "Artist's" work via Patreon I would urge caution. There is no contact afforded for issues with payments, lack of service and you may find you are logged out of your account abruptly before the end of a monthly payment. There really is an awkwardness and deceit surrounding this company, whether it is due to the company itself or the artist.

Totally non-responsive. Cannot log on to my account. Emails to reset password were never sent. Impossible to cancel my subscription.

I didn't choose to join this company
I didn't choose to join this company. A card payment appeared on my statement! There's nowhere to unsubscribe or contact Patreon. The only good reviews are from green stars, probably people who work for Patreon. And when I tried to contact one of them, well, would you believe it! ..... ... oops! couldn't connect. Please try later. It all smacks of scam. I want my money back.

Easy to contribute to creators and…
Easy to contribute to creators and change/cancel/manage any of those payments, as well as easy to receive money from others by being a creator! I pledged to various creators for about 2 years, and have changed or cancelled payments as I wished to change my support easily. Now I also have a creator account and love being able to offer exclusive content and my time to those that support me that is not available anywhere else! Love this site and it's consistently been great!

Patreon is a bulls**t scam for anyone in the EU, they work out if VAT is applicable solely on where you live and nothing else so if your products are not VAT applicable then your customers will be charged for it regardless

Patreon charged me twice out of nowhere…
Patreon charged me twice out of nowhere despite the fact that I am not a new customer but have already been working with them for a while, I emailed customer support. Haven't heard anything back from them. To prevent this from happening again, I removed my card and added PayPal; at least that way I have some form of buyer protection.
