Patreon Reviews in June 2026: User Ratings, Pros & Cons

Steadfast patron

I've been a patron for 2 years, and find them excellent at supporting two creators. I has no trouble at all making changes to my pledges, and deleting one of them when I didn't receive an expected benefit. That was the creator's fault, not Patreon's. I don't understand why others are having problems. Could their complaints be politically motivated?

I agree with the below Reviews. It is impossible to unsubscribe. There was a period of 4 months where I was getting no service from any the creators and I couldn't stop billing. Pay pal was of no help stopping the payments were trying to get a refund.

It's good for supporting creators

It's good for supporting creators, but whenever it comes to unsubscribing to maybe one, and how they setup their horrible subscription service is actually ridicilous, try to support your content creators some other way, it's completely mental how big this site is and how the people running it are literal apes

"Pretty good for creators!"

What do you like best about Patreon? The company idea as a whole isnt being done a lot elsewhere! its a great way for fans to be able to support the creators they love, and it is very customizable

I will be reporting this company to ic3.gov it’s a company that supports under age content and everyone associated with patreon should be in prison. Beware of any green stars that is someone working from within the company trying to fool people.

I currently support eight different creators on Patreon but have supported a few dozen at one time or another since 2013 when I started using the platform. I do find that stopping support for a creator isn't as simple of a process as it should be, but I have had no problems with doing so in seven years. I go into "manage pledge" and then "delete pledge" and that's it, I never get billed for that creator again.
