Patreon censoring and suppressing free speech
Patreon deleting the content of creators providing content concerning the war in Ukraine is truly disgusting. Patreon hide their censorship and suppression under the heading of the content not falling within their "community guidelines" because, in the case of Artur Rehi, he factually called Russians "occupiers". Truly disappointing and disturbing on so many levels.

Patreon can't be trusted, do not depend on them.
Before you consider depending on Patreon as a funding source consider how they treat others. Imagine that for six years you give Patreon your trust, you develop a community and they are happy to take their percentage. Then one day, with no warning, no appeal, no questioning, YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELETED. Patreon ignore your emails or send template emails, they are judge, jury and executioner with no recourse.
