The site owners directly support fraud as there are users making pages that promise a lot of content by having a lot of posts, however the posts are actually non-functional links, epmty posts etc (you can't see them before paying). Patreon has a policy that they do not interfere if you don't receive the promised benefits. If you have been victim of this and payed by paypal, Paypal was able to return my money so go to their site.

got randomly suspended for "violating terms of rules" when literally all i've done on my account is subscribe to creators and they had given me a 3 day timeframe to fix whatever I violated which I never saw

Do NOT add your credit card details - scam!

I signed up on Patreon to follow a guy who I thought would be interesting. After checking the content, I decide to cancel the membership. Even though I signed up in mid-March, they charged me the full monthly amount. My membership is going to be only valid until March 31st, which means I would have only enjoyed half a month. Patreon has been charging me a dollar a month after I cancelled. When I go to their site they tell me I have no membership even though I signed up for someone’s performance through them. I’d cancelled my account, but they kept charging me a dollar a month. I had the performer’s manager call and I got my refund for the three months I had been charged for nothing. If you pledge for physical rewards prepared to be defrauded and have Patreon refuse to support you and lie to your payment processor regarding tracking and delivery of goods.

Their customer support is useless

Their customer support is useless. If you have a creator who abuses their pay structure, they can get away with it and the blame is put on the payees for not setting max limits. There is no way to get refunded overcharged fees other than through the creator. I'm deleting all my pledges. Screw this site and anyone who chooses to use it. Can't cancel membership

I joined to support World Drum Club. I appreciate what Kalani offers. However, several months later, I wanted to end my membership. WEll guess what the cancel membership link doesn't cancel anything. It takes you to their 4 tiers of membership. So, one is caught in an eternal loop. I have reached out and get nothing but a step by step description of how to do what I have already done. Guess I'll have to block the payment through my credit card. This is ridiculous!! Don't get a membership!
