The site owners directly support fraud as there are users making pages that promise a lot of content by having a lot of posts, however the posts are actually non-functional links, epmty posts etc (you can't see them before paying). Patreon has a policy that they do not interfere if you don't receive the promised benefits. If you have been victim of this and payed by paypal, Paypal was able to return my money so go to their site.

I signed up on Patreon to follow a guy who I thought would be interesting. After checking the content, I decide to cancel the membership. Even though I signed up in mid-March, they charged me the full monthly amount. My membership is going to be only valid until March 31st, which means I would have only enjoyed half a month. Their customer support is useless

Their customer support is useless. If you have a creator who abuses their pay structure, they can get away with it and the blame is put on the payees for not setting max limits. There is no way to get refunded overcharged fees other than through the creator. I'm deleting all my pledges. Screw this site and anyone who chooses to use it.
