Avoid At All Costs
Worst platform out there for subscription content, would give it zero stars if I could. They constantly locked me out of my account and treated me like a suspect everytime I simply wanted to listen to a show I like. If I could bankrupt 3 organizations, and it was a tossup between the KKK, the NRA, the Taliban, and Patreon, I would bankrupt Patreon 3 times if possible. Worst service ever.

I enrolled for a subscription but was unable to access content despite many emails. Patreon refuse refund, originator also refuses. Patreon will not give me details to complete county court judgement. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Beware of Patreon!
Patreon seems very low on ethical standards. This isn't were you go to support, someone you like.. I watched with horror as they made life hell for a creator, that I have supported for years. A creator I will continue to support elsewhere. Creators and supporters beware, it all sounds good when you read what they offer but then they fail to deliver on 'supporting the creator' when it's needed. Terrible company
Terrible company. I subscribed to a service that I wasn't able to access. I received no help at all. I have now cancelled my subscription and will never deal with this company again.

Customer service gets a ZERO
I was a patreon member for a few years and I subscribed to around 15 different content creators, although I was only subscribed to 3 or 4 at a time. So when I'd see charges on my banking statement nothing really stood out. When I got down to just 2 subscriptions, that's when I started noticing the fees. So I changed my donations to the minimum and waited to see what future charges would be. I gave it three months and patreon was still dinging me $12 per month. Twice a month. $24 when it ...

What do you like best about Patreon? Patreon is an awesome way to connect with your customers and make them feel like they're part of a special community. We've done so many great things through Patreon - book clubs, special Zoom events, discount codes. With Patreon, it's easy to really foster a great connection!!

What do you like best about Patreon? Built in merch system is really useful for creators. It's great that you can customize your fan base's level of involvement with tiers and brand elements like color and logo and welcome notes. Very simple to use.
